We want everyone who comes to Radiant to experience spiritual growth, and here is a brief overview of how we foster such growth. This approach shapes all of our ministries.
KEY INGREDIENTS FOR GROWTH: We believe people experience spiritual growth when they read and study the Bible in the context of honest and transparent community and with a focus on mission and being a blessing to other people.
PATHWAYS FOR GROWTH: We have three primary pathways that allow people of all seasons of life and faith to find a place to plug in and grow.
Connect: It can be challenging going to a church for the first time, getting to know people, or reconnecting in your faith. We provide two regular opportunities for you to simply get to know the church and its people and build real community.
Grow: We want everyone to get on a path of going deeper in their walk with God, and we have two primary tracts for this.
Foundations Course: This introduces people to the basic beliefs of the Christian faith and also gets people reading and understanding the Bible. It is ideal for people new to Christianity, reconnecting in their faith, or taking their first steps in learning more.
Life Groups: Led by members of the church, these meet in various places and locations in order to build relationships, study the Bible, review sermons, serve the community, and more.
Engage: This is our leadership development pathway in which we seek to equip believers to be spiritual leaders both inside and outside the church. We train people and seek to deploy them in opportunities of service.
SIX MARKS OF A DISCIPLE: We also want growth to focus not just on one or two aspects of following Jesus, but more holistically. The key identities of a follower of Christ that we seek to develop are that of worshipper, follower, helper, family member, steward, and witness.
